Hireland

You may be aware of Hireland, which officially launched this week, Hireland is a volunteer, not-for-profit group of IAPI members and those from the communication industry that has developed an Ireland-wide initiative to encourage employers to hire skilled people who are out of work.

Hireland said it wants to draw on the power of the collective and act as a catalyst to stimulate job creation. It’s about a positive, confident movement, where one job will lead to another if Irish businesses get on board and pledge a job.

Through a collective support Hireland aims to create 5,000 new job opportunities by the end of July 2012. Here in IAPI we are asking our members to get involved by pledging a job or spreading the word about Hireland. (www.hireland.ie)
