Global website for Sol beer launched by CKSK

Tuesday June 5th saw the launch of the global website for international beer brand Sol by CKSK. Sol.com is the first phase of a long term, global digital strategy developed with Sol by the recently appointed digital agency headquartered in Dublin with offices in New York and Amsterdam.
Sol.com is a multiplatform site giving consumers access to the world of Sol from any device, whether they’re on their mobile, tablet or pc. The site was developed with the latest development methodology, called responsive design and is one of the first global brand sites to use this technique. CKSK CEO, Cillian Kieran commentated on launch, saying, “The rapid shift to mobile consumption of content means that brands must create seamless consumer experience across every platform and device. The days of web-sites only being available on PC’s or specific browsers is over and Sol.com is a leading example of this.”
Sol.com is currently in phase 1 with the platform being adapted and updated to provide support for any local activations as well as providing the backbone for Sol’s upcoming global digital campaigns.
Sol is a popular Mexican beer brand that has been brewed since 1899 and is already exported and enjoyed in over 50 countries across the globe. In 2010, Sol became part of the Heineken family after the acquisition of the beer side of Mexican company FEMSA. Proud of its Mexican heritage, Sol is in good company at Heineken, which has over 200 international premium brands, regional, local and specialty beers and ciders in its portfolio.
In addition to being Sol’s global digital agency, CKSK are also the agency of record for many prominent brands in the Heineken Ireland family including Heineken, Coors Light and Desperados. The agency’s latest global launch comes on the back of more recent success for CKSK as they were recently appointed digital agency for Meteor Mobile. This latest appointment further bolsters CKSK’s impressive roster of partners, which include PepsiCo Ireland, Sony PlayStation Ireland, Danone Ireland and VHI Healthcare.
